The best of the South Australia's gravel rally crews will be competing this weekend against some of SA's best tarmac competitors, in this weekend's Kuitpo Forest Rally.
Going head to head will be Matthew Selley, a local Adelaide lawyer, in his newly bought ex-Chris Atkinson Subaru, along with the leader of the SA Rally Championship, Declan Dwyer .They will be competing against tarmac specialists Peter Gazzard, in his Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, and Dr. Roger Patterson in his Porsche 911RS.
Also competing this year are two under 18 drivers, 16 year old local James Rodda from Prospect Hill (SA) and 18 year old Brendan Reeves from Wedderburn, Victoria.
Spectators can view the cars at Willunga in the form up area from 3pm and then excellent spectator viewing is available from the lookout on Willunga Hill or at Lanac Park Mount Compass (entry $5.00 per person) following the signs from the top of Willunga Hill or see the Southern Districts Car Club website www.sdcc.asn.au.
