2011 saw the introduction of the "ARC Competitors Competitor Award", and it was awarded at the end of year Presentation Dinner following the final ARC round, Rally Victoria.
ARCCG members voted on two awards, one driver and one navigator, with all competitors from the 2011 series eligible.
The awards were presented by ARC CEO, Scott Pedder, and 2010 Champions, Simon and Sue Evans.
In all, 22 different drivers and navigators were voted for, showing a fantastic amount of respect amongst the teams for how they all compete together.
The Driver's award was won by Simon Knowles, and then amazingly, the co-driver’s award was split between Margot Knowles (Simon’s co-driver and wife) and newly crowned 2011 ARC champion, Matt Lee.
The ARCCG also presented numerous appreciation awards to the event organisers, sponsors, groups and individuals whose input allows the series to happen.
