Two totally new roads not used before, along with two stages in the famed Newry State Forest, will characterise the return of top level rallying to the Coffs Harbour region.

This year’s Coffs Coast Rally, to be held on November 15 and 16, will be the final round of the Australian Rally Championship, the last round of the NSW Championship and also a round of the Northern NSW Championship.

The event, held over two days, will see crews take on 110km of local forestry roads made famous by previous Coffs Harbour ARC events.

Rally headquarters will be at the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort. The Novatel is offering a 20% discount on the bar, along with some special room rates.

The Coffs Harbour Visitor’s Information Centre is handling bookings for accommodation. Cal them on 1300 369 070 and quote COFF COAST RALLY to obtain the best deals.

The rally will feature a single service point to help crews with their servicing requirements.

The Coffs Harbour region is known for its family friendly atmosphere and there is plenty to do for family and friends that come along to the rally. Stay for an extra day or two and soak up some local hospitality.

The roads are in great condition and should prove a challenge to ARC regulars, many whom have not competed in the rally before.

Current ARC leader, Neal Bates from Toyota Motorsport, must be considered as the favourite for the event as he enjoyed many a battle with the late Possum Bourne in their WRC cars in past Coffs Harbour ARC rallies.
