The Australian Rally Commission (ARCom) have acknowledged the tremendous work of rally organisers Neil Cuthbert and Justin Hunt in running the NGK Rally of Melbourne over the past four years. Â Neil and Justin's partnership was formed in very trying circumstances following Glenn Cuthbert's tragic death just days before the 2002 Rally of Melbourne event, an official ARCom press release stated. Â The pair has since built the NGK Rally of Melbourne into a commercial success and made it one of the NEC Australian Rally Championship's marque events. Â Â "While we are saddened by their decision to step down as promoters of the event, we will work together to find a new promoter to allow this fantastic event to continue in the future," said Arcom Chairman Garry Connelly. Â "We would also like to acknowledge the hard work by the event's superb sporting team, and we hope that all involved will continue on with the Melbourne event."
