Young gun Arron Windus has taken out the latest round of the Victorian Rally Championship, the George Derrick Pyrenees Rush, held on Sunday.
Arron Windus took a narrow victory in the Pyrenees Rush.Driving a Subaru WRX, Windus and co-driver Joe Brick held off a fast-finishing Will Orders and Toni Feaver in a Lancer Evo to win by just two seconds.
Third place went to another Lancer Evo, driven by Warren Lee, while the impressive Steven Mackenzie was fourth and first two-wheel drive car home in his Ford Fiesta ST.
Mackenzie was 40 seconds clear of another two-wheel drive Ford, the classic Escort Mk2 of Luke Sytema.
