Queenslanders Keith and Mary Anne Callinan have performed well in the recent Harry Flatters Rally in the UK.
Driving a rented Ford Escort RS1600, the husband and wife team finished the event in 35th place, and 12th in class against a host of much more powerful cars.
The tarmac event was won by John Dalton in a hybrid Darrian T90 GTR, followed by the Hyundai Accent World Rally Car of Damian Cole.
The Callinans have a long history in Australian rallying in recent years, competing in tarmac rallies in a De Tomaso Pantera, and in tarmac and gravel rallies in a thundering Holden Monaro.
