Close to 30,000 people attended the 2008 Speed On Tweed last weekend.
The Tweed Valley turned on brilliant weather with temperatures in the 30s, with 200 entries competing in the historic event.
Speed on the Tweed is the only charity-based historic motor speed event in Australia, and through their efforts they have donated over $180,000 to charity. This year’s event was dedicated to remembering Jane McGrath and her fantastic work in support of breast cancer sufferers, and the work of her Foundation.
