Aaron Bowering and Nathan Lowe have taken a narrow 13 second lead in the Nissan Nightmoves Rally, round three of the Victorian Club Rally Series.
Driving a Subaru Impreza WRX, the South Australians opened up a 23 second lead on the first of the event's seven stages, and were never headed thereafter.
VCRS leaders, Cody Richards and Matt Dillon, took second place in their Ford Escort after another strong run from second on the road.
Richards was lucky to survive a last stage off-road excursion into the shrubbery, and extends his championship lead.
