There are plenty of people out there who love rallying. Often you just don’t see them, they are out there somewhere on a dusty forest track, spectating, helping, or competing.
For those who love the sport, Cardwell Classic Rally can never come soon enough and it is on again this weekend. A top field of 22 competitors will line up for the event with teams coming from all over North Qld.Â
Make your way up to Cardwell on Saturday, August 8 and see old Datsuns, Escorts, Mitsubishis and Toyotas sliding around fantastic forestry roads. The rally starts at 10am at the Showgrounds and cars can be seen at the Fiveways spectator point soon after. Turn left at BP Cardwell and make your way directly to the Fiveways.
