The Spaniards Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya in their Polo R WRC were among the big names at the eleventh Rallylegend in San Marino.

The two-time world champions headed the line-up of legends tackling the stages in front of more than 70,000 enthusiastic spectators.

Former world champions such as Markku Alén (FIN), Per Eklund (S), Miki Biasion (I) and Didier Auriol (F), and top drivers and co-drivers including Harald Demuth (D), Fabrizia Pons (I) and Gigi Galli (I) performed spectacular drifts to the delight of the crowds in the republic.

Volkswagen presented historical vehicles such as the Group A world championship car driven by Eklund and a Golf G60, and also the current Volkswagen Motorsport world championship vehicle.

The fans were treated to a wide array of historical vehicles numbering in excess of 130, such as the Audi S1 built for Walter Röhrl (D), Fiat and Ferrari models, a number of Lancia Stratos, Delta Integrale and 037 rally models.
