The Anglomoil Side By Side Rally Team competing in the East Coast Bull Bars Australian Rally Championship is preparing to trek to South Australia for the Scouts Rally SA and defend their win at this event in 2014.
Driver Nathan Chivers sits in second place on the points ladder and his co-driver, Adam Tillet, is a local who has competed in the same forest region as a driver and navigator, and he has also directed events there.
Their CanAm Maverick X-DS-Turbo will cover nearly 460 kilometres over three days starting on Friday 23rd. There are 3 heats over the 3 days with a total of 20 special stages. They go through the famous Barossa wine country, the town of Gawler in Mt Crawford Forest and Mt Pleasant.
This is the final round of the 2015 season. Nathan has been competing since the Side By Sides entered the ARC and this season he unveiled his new turbo-powered all wheel drive side by side with its striking blue and yellow Anglomoil livery.
The SXS uses lubricants produced by the privately owned Australian lubricant manufacturer based in Sydney which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
