Convenience the key for upcoming Volksmuller Rallysprint

Entries are filling fast for the Volksmuller Rallysprint, which will run out of the Sydney Dragway next Sunday, May 19.

Though capped at 60 entries, there are still spots to fill with just under a week to go.

The Sunday format has been chosen to allow rally enthusiasts the chance to indulge in their sport without cutting into family and leisure time on an evening or traditional Saturday format.

The location also allows for short travel time as it is based close to the geographic centre of Sydney.

An S1 and S2 event will be run, with different rules for either.

Each car will have the chance to have up to six runs over the course, and cars can be entered multiple times with a different driver.

Previously there have been some high profile names compete in this rallysprint, and this year will be no different.

The famous Neal Bates Motorsport Toyota Celica RA40 will be competing alongside several other NSW regulars.
