Last weekend saw the running of the final round of the WA Clubman Rally Series, the Darling 200 Rally around Jarrahdale.
Twenty-seven crews lined up to contest the event which consisted of 70 competitive kilometres over six special stages. Mechanical problems caused a number of crews to retire, but those remaining in the event produced a hard-fought battle right until the end.
The final stage of the rally was a short stage, and so tight were the times that the five quickest cars were separated by only six seconds!
Eventual winners of the event were brothers Steve and Mark Davies (Toyota Corolla), ahead of Kevin Sleep/Alex Kirkhouse (Honda Civic), with Kingsley and Ros Foster third in their Toyota Celica.
