With the team riding a wave of confidence after their solid 4th outright heat one result the Hilary's Hotel Rally Team was confident of a strong showing in heat two of the National Capital Rally.

Entering stage 7, the crew of Will Orders and Adam Wright were on maximum attack until 7km into the first stage of the day when the engine suddenly dropped onto three cylinders immediately putting the guys out of the event on the spot.

"It's massively disappointing to end our rally like this, we were extremely confident of having a good result today but about 6km into the stage the car dropped onto three cylinders and that was it, we pulled over and the engine bay was covered in oil so it looked fairly terminal straight away," said Orders.

The team is still in high sprits after this result as they showed great pace against the G2 competition with the Nissan Silvia right up there in the action, so there is no doubts the Hilary's Hotel Rally Team will be back with a better car than ever before.

The team would like to thank other sponsors: Freak Motorsport Fabrocations, JJM Turboworld, Penrite Oils, Hollinger Engineering, Pedders Suspension, Nissco 1600 workshop and Rallyschool.com.au
