The 2009 asp / Cut Price Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally Supplementary Regulations have been approved by CAMS and have now been released to all prospective competitors.
The “Supp Regs†and Entry Form can now be found at www.asprally.com
On Saturday, May 30, 80 open competitors and 20 SA Rally Championship competitors will run 10 stages through the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula and Sunday, May 31, the action moves a little closer to Adelaide with 80 competitors running 10 stages though the Southern Vales – 130 kilometres of spirited driving for cars and teams.
The asp / Cut Price Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally in its third year, is now a favourite among tarmac rally competitors around Australia, and is now for the first time a two day event.
Last year’s event, won by Steve Glenney and Bernie Webb, attracted 50 entries from across Australia.
Entries for this year’s precursor event, the asp Mount Alma Mile Hill Climb filled only three weeks after entries opened and the complete competitor list will be released early next week.
The 2009 asp / Cut Price Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally is shaping up to be similarly jam-packed with many pre-registrations already taken - drivers wishing to enter should do so promptly to avoid disappointment.
