Honda Rally Live will feature times and tracking from the new RallySafe tracking system in the competing cars while Carl Liebold will host Rally Radio across the weekend bringing live coverage from the Imbil Service Park.
Honda Rally Live will present a raft of up to date information and will mean many fans at home will have a better handle on what is happening at the rally than spectators standing on the stages.
Rally Radio has proved a popular addition to the Bosch ARC this year with Carl Liebold bringing interviews from the field including end of stage reports and driver interviews across the weekend
The Brakes International Rally of Queensland as well as being round three of the Bosch ARC, will host round three of the Side by Side Rally Challenge, the East Coast Bullbars SUV Challenge, the Rallyschool.com.au Australian Junior Challenge and the ARC Classic Challenge.
Bosch ARC CEO Scott Pedder is confident the Queensland event will be the most exciting event of 2012 thus far.
“ The Queensland round is going to be a real highlight this year with a record 100 entries across all the classes and the inclusion of International competitors contesting the Asia Pacific Rally Championship it promised to be one event you don’t want to miss, ,” said Scott Pedder.
“But if you can’t make it to the Sunshine Coast you can log into Honda Rally Live and listen to Rally Radio,” he added
“Having Honda Rally Live and Rally Radio means that you don’t have to go without a Rally fix just because you can’t get to the event and Ryan Jones and the Pure Motorsport team along with Carl Liebold do a great job of keeping the fans at home and around the world up to date on what’s going on at the events.”
“One of the highlights will be the expected return of four times Australian Champion Simon Evans in the new Rallyschool Mazda 2 G2 machine and while it will be the debut event for the all new car you can bet Simon Evans will be in full flight with his usual trademark spectacular and daring style,” said Pedder.
The Honda Rally Live website allows rally lovers to not only keep track of events through live timing, expert commentary from the Rally Radio crew but also the ability to experience the event through driver interviews, rally highlights, video clips and the latest news.
