As revealed on rallysportmag.com.au over a month ago, Ford have confirmed their program for the 2007 Australian Rally Championship, announcing they will run Super 2000 Fiestas for both Michael Guest/Mark Stacey and Darren Windus/Jon Mortimer.

The announcement came as the team took delivery of an ex-Astra Motorsports Super 1600 Ford Fiesta from Italy.  This will be the car that will form the basis of the first Super 2000 car the Pirtek Rally Team will build.

The entire 2007 program will be run by Britek Motorsport in Melbourne, and the Pirtek Rally Team have already confirmed highly regarded rally identities Stewart Reid, Barry Game, Paul Kane and Gavin Selth as part of the team.

The experienced Reid will be the on-event manager, whilst Game and Kane will head up the technical and mechanical side.  Gavin Selth, a former member of the Ford World Rally Team, will run the engine program.
