Ford’s Detroit rallycross video

ESPN recently announced Detroit in the United States as one of four cities in the running to host X Games 2014-2016. The Detroit bid team took its campaign to the next level by releasing a video that demonstrated X Games sports in the context of the city.
 
After Ford Racing received a request from the bid team, OlsbergsMSE (OMSE) team principal Andreas Eriksson agreed to test the new Ford Fiesta ST rallycross car in Detroit for the bid team to film. Led by Eriksson, OMSE has helped secure Ford two consecutive Global Rallycross manufacturers’ championships.

With locations like the parking area of Cobo Hall, which overlooks the Detroit skyline, and the historic Detroit train station and Belle Isle Park, the OMSE Ford Fiesta ST rallycross car tested around some of the most iconic buildings and landmarks in the city.  Thanks to the X Games Detroit bid team, Ford Racing has released a compilation of highlights, which can be enjoyed below:
