While the team intends to compete in the Australian round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship on the Sunshine Coast this weekend, they also intend to enter the remaining three Australian Rally Championship rounds in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
The plans get more exciting for 2013 when the team will compete in the Pacific Cup Rally Championship in New Caledonia, New Zealand and Australia, and finally the World Rally Championship Rally based either in Australia or New Zealand.
While the existing team remains unchanged with Hugh Reardon-Smith in the co-drivers seat, and Rob Reddiex and Richard Harris providing service and maintenance on the vehicle, Neil Lowe will join the team for the Pacific Cup along with another QLD based crew also campaigning an EVO 9 Lancer.
The commercial partners announced today are Alliance Airlines, Australia’s only dedicated national FIFO operator; Earthquip, an experienced organisation that specialises in the sale, distribution and servicing of high quality earthmoving machinery; Fullerton Financial Services, a business that has been offering professional Insurance and Superannuation advice for more than 30 years; and Pirelli, who will be supporting the team in the Asia Pacific round this year, and the Pacific Cup campaign next year.
While making this announcement Bruce was happy to confirm that WIN TV has also come on board and will be televising footage and stories about the team during the year via their regional network news service.
