The Full-On Rallysport team of Bruce Fullerton and Hugh Reardon-Smith head to Melbourne for the final round of the NEC ARC in the joint lead of the Rally Challenge for 2007.
A strong result in the Great Lakes Rally of NSW saw the team win the Challenge for the weekend and move them into the equal lead on 200 points with Paul Batten and Craig Jones.
This season’s move to a Mitsubishi Evo 6 has proved successful, with good results in Queensland, South Australia and NSW leaving the team leading the Challenge into the final round.
“The Great Lakes Rally was a great result for us, with our first round win of the year,” Reardon-Smith said, “and all the car needed was some basic maintenance to be ready for Melbourne.” The result has also left the team in 14th outright in the NEC ARC, despite missing two rounds.
“The NGK Rally of Melbourne is a new event for us,” he added, “but so was the Great Lakes Rally. It makes Thursday, the recce day, one of the most important days of the event – we have to get the pacenotes right, and so far this year our pacenotes have worked well.”
The Full-On Rallysport team also includes two more key personnel – Rob Reddiex and Richard Harris - who make up the service crew and have kept the car running perfectly all season.
The Full-On Rallysport Evo 6 has been seeded at car 14 in the 48 car field for Melbourne, and will be supported by its regular sponsors, Fullerton Financial Services, Prime Haulage and Pioneer Seeds.
