George Woods Introductory better than ever in 2019

For over thirty years, the George Woods Introductory Rally has introduced new competitors to the sport of rallying, and 2019 is no different.

The rally will be run in two divisions as well as a rally training night on Friday February 8 at the CAMS State Meeting Room.

This training session will allow those new to rallying to hone their skills before giving rallying a go the next day out in the forests.

Division one of the rally will run in daylight over approximately 45 kilometres competitive and 15 kilometres transport to be fully route charted with tulip diagrams.

Division two will run after sunset over approximately 55 kilometres competitive and 25 kilometres transport. It will incorporate both route charts and simple map reading stages.

The Rookies Ramble section of the event will run only over division one.

The George Woods Introductory Rally will start and finish at the Powelltown Recreation Reserve, where food and drinks will be on sale.

Ample service time is also available for competitors at the same location.
