With only six weeks to go to the third round of the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship, the Great Tarmac Rally, entries are filling fast for the last of the 36 places allocated for the competition section.

It is set to be a spectacular diverse field of vehicles ranging from a Mark 1 Cortina all the way to a Lamborghini in the competition and tour categories. The event includes over 200 kilometres of competitive driving with 13 stages which include two runs on the iconic Reefton Spur, the last being a challenging 37km run all the way from Reefton through to Marysville in what looks to be the signature stage of the event.
A number of people have taken up the rookie entry for first time entrants, with an incentive for anyone not having entered a Mountain Motorsports event previously paying only $1900 for the competition category, a saving of $600.
The Great Tarmac Rally Tour utilises the same challenging stages as the competition cars and with a pace car to keep things spirited but controllable, it is the perfect introduction to tarmac rallying or just an awesome weekend in your performance road car and with the entry fee only $600 it is fantastic value for your money.

The event will be based out of the beautiful Stonelea Estate in Alexandra on the weekend of October 26 and 27. TEST AND TUNE DAY - 4TH OCTOBER
A test day is being run on the Mt Baw Baw Tourist Road on October 4. For only $300.00 you will get to test your vehicle all day in real closed road tarmac rally conditions on the steep access road to Mt Baw Baw.
