Usually sharing a car at local khanacrosses in Damian's 'O' team (hence Guyo and Damo), the pair are set to take on the rally in the team's recently repaired Renault Clio.
Damo is looking forward to an exciting ride with Guyo in the 777 Rallysport Clio for the first time, having picked up the ride after his usual driver, Stephen Mee, was forced to withdraw due to engine parts for his car still being in transit from the States.
Based in Millicent SA, the Wattle Range Rally is the first round of the SA state championship. Whilst a rally hasn't been held down in this area for a few years, the event is set to be very exciting.
It kicks off with with a quick blast around the Millicent showgrounds Super Special Stage on Friday night and recommences on Saturday morning when the crews travel to Beachport for a quick tarmac stage, and then onto a 12km stage through a cattle station and finally into the area's forests.
The rally features an exciting entry list with strong 2WD competitors such as Barry Lowe in his awesome Commodore, Dave Hall returning to the championship in his 240Z and Michael Busby who is fresh off an impressive third place at Rally Calder piloting his new RX7.
"I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of the Clio. I'm sure the competition will be fierce with such quality entries, but we will try as hard as possible to aim for a strong finish," says Tyler.
The Triple Seven Rallysport team would like to thank their sponsors: B&R Autogas and Exhaust, Willunga Tyre and Battery, Aluminimum Dynamics, Walkers Creative Art and S2 Performance.
