Former British Rally Champion, David Higgins, will aim to recapture his 2004 title-winning form at wheel of an RED-prepared Toyota S2000 in this year's British Rally Championship.

The deal, backed by TQ Training and Education, was announced at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham.

Higgins is the first driver to enter Britain’s most prestigious rally series in a Super 2000 car. After testing the Toyota at the Sweet Lamb complex in mid-Wales, Higgins relishes the opportunity to add to his previous championship crown.

“The car is a real drivers’ car. It rewards effort and aggression, the harder you push, the more you get out of it. In that respect, it’s unlike Group N cars, which can be easy to over drive,"  Higgins said.
