The Victorian rally scene is set to be given an injection of excitement with the likelihood of a Lancia Stratos competing next year. Former Victorian Rally Champion, Peter Fyfe, is planning a return to the sport next year at the wheel of a Lister Bell Stratos replica. The car is likely to be debuted in Targa High Country late in 2018. “It is a full race spec kit which will be powered by an Alfa V6 producing over 400bhp through a Quaife 6-speed sequential box,” Fyfe told RallySport Magainze. “It will have huge Aston Martin DB9 brakes and MCA custom suspension from my old mate Murray Coote, just to keep the Aussie content in there!” Fyfe won the 1991 and 1992 Victorian Rally Championships at the wheel of a Nissan Pulsar GTiR.

The Lancia Stratos replica kit has arrived in Peter Fyfe's Melbourne workshop.
