Experienced Australian co-driver, Glenn Macneall, is just back from Finland where he competed in the Tahko SM Rally, round three of the Finnish Rally Championship.

The West Australian got a last-minute call up from Hiroki Arai, the son of former Japanese star Toshi Arai, in a Subaru WRX.
Arai and another Japanese driver are both part of a Toyota young driver development program that could see them progress through to Toyota’s WRC program if their progress continues.
“At this stage the event was a one-off, but I’m waiting to see if it progresses into a full season,” Macneall said.
“From what I have seen in the last 10 days it is an exceptionally good program, and it is a great opportunity for the young drivers.”
Macneall has co-driven for some of the sport’s big names throughout his career. He was Chris Atkinson’s first co-driver at the Subaru World Rally Team, and is currently Gaurav Gill’s note caller in the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship.
