Pirelli Star Driver Molly Taylor (AUS), not only scooped her first WRC Academy stage win of the season but she also earnt herself – and her co-driver Seb Marshall (GBR) – the Ermis Award at Wales Rally GB.
The two times British Ladies Champion drove a consistent event and taking advantage of her knowledge of the British stages and adverse conditions she eventually finished in fifth place, equalling her result at Rallye de France in October.
The FIA Women and Motorsport driver representative was delighted to finish the season on a high and said: "I was very happy and proud to be recognised with the Ermis Award. I have been working hard all year to learn and improve in the most competitive series I've ever driven in so it's really exciting to see my progress and what's possible for the future.
"Now I'm working towards returning to the WRC Academy in 2012 and using the experience I gained this season to come back faster and more confident. It's a challenge, but one I'm more than happy to rise to!"
