National Capital Rally on TV this weekend

Tune in to Network Ten at midday (EST) this Sunday to catch the spectacular action from the opening Round of the East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship, the National Capital Rally from Canberra.

Alan Roe and Ben Searcy in action in the National Capital Rally.This year’s television coverage again provides fans with two full hours of coverage, with the first hour airing this Sunday providing all the action from the two-wheel drive ARMOR ALL Power Stage featuring special guest star Ari Vatanen in a Group B Audi Quattro.
 
Then the action switches to the intense battle for the Classic Rally Challenge, with Neal Bates’ Toyota Celica, Jeff David’s Porsche 911 and a host of rear-wheel drives fighting it out.
 
As well as the fire-breathing Mitsubishi’s and Subaru’s vying for the 4WD National Rally Series, with 2013 combatants Mike Bailey and Ritchie Dalton fending off the challenges of the NSW and ACT contingent.
 
The second hour of coverage, airing at 2pm on Network Ten the following week (Sunday 30th March) will provide start to finish coverage of the outright two-wheel drives. Watch as reigning Champ Eli Evans fights for points with arch rivals Brendan Reeves, Scott Pedder and the new breed of drivers led by Waylon Sims and Steve Mackenzie.
