Rallycorp, Australian rallying’s commercial arm, is pleased to welcome Chris Chrystiuk to the organisation in the position of Rallycorp Operations Co-ordinator.

Chris (27), who ran a printing business for several years before returning to University, has Bachelor Degrees both in Sports Administration and Event Management to back up his interest and involvement in various sporting activities, including motor sport.

Prior to joining Rallycorp Chris has gained substantial event logistics/operations experience from work with Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, NBA Madness - a road show promoting basketball and his time as a Marketing Executive Intern at Fulham Football Club in London, UK.

Chris will be replacing current Operations Co-ordinator Simon Larkin who leaves Rallycorp after three ½ years in the position to pursue career paths in the UK.

Larkin’s dedication to the role has ensured the continued growth of the sport over the past few years and he leaves behind a solid foundation for Chris to continue to build upon.

Chris will work closely with series stakeholders, including sponsors and event promoters to ensure the professional presentation of the sport and effective communication between all involved in the championship.

He is looking forward to taking on the role and to get more involved with the NEC Australian Rally Championship and Australian rallying.
“It’s exciting time to be involved in the NEC Australian Rally Championship. The series has strong manufacturer support, a host of very talented drivers, excellent television and a great group of exciting sponsors,” said Chrystiuk.

“I have been an active spectator of rallying over many years and in this position, intend help the sport continue to be one of the most competitive national championships in the world”

“In this role, I’ll be working with the event organisers, teams, sponsors and partners to raise the profile of the NEC ARC, and most importantly to provide a strong communication channel between all involved in the NEC ARC and Rallycorp,” Chris explained.

Rallycorp Chairman Steve Ashton is delighted to be able to make this appointment and welcomes Chris’ abilities and qualifications to the role.
“Chris will be a welcome addition to an already strong team of professionals involved in the sport of rallying,” said Ashton.

“The NEC Australian Rally Championship has stepped up a number of notches in the last few years and the knowledge and experience Chris will bring to the role will only benefit the sport further.

“We envisage that Chris will greatly assist the communication between all the stakeholders in the sport and the professionalism of our presentation and warmly welcome him to the team,” said Ashton.

“I would like to pay tribute on behalf of the Board, to the incredible job performed by Simon Larkin during his 3 ½ years with Rallycorp. He has made an outstanding contribution to the development of the NEC Australian Rally Championship and will be greatly missed.”
