New Porsche for Jeff David in 2012 ARC

Jeff David and Grant Geelan have confirmed they will contest the 2012 Classic Challenge as part of this year's ARC.

Driving a new potent Porsche 911, David has been a consistent front runner in classic events here and in New Zealand.
 
"Grant and I are really looking forward to the series and competing against top drivers like Neal Bates," David said.

"The new car is finally finished and we plan to do all of the rounds this year, and we will even have a second car at some events with another driver," he confirmed. The Porsche crew will debut the new car at Rally Calder.
 
Barry Lowe, the crowd favourite last year in his thundering Commodore, is an omission this year with his budget under some serious strain.
 
"It looks like we will have to run on the SA series as our budget can’t be stretched this year,", a disappointed Lowe said. The SA spectators won’t miss out!
 
Stewart Reid is yet to confirm his plans, but won’t be able to compete at Calder as it conflicts with work engagements.
