Christchurch driver Josh Marston is welcoming new sponsor Harcourts Vision onboard for the final round of the New Zealand Rally Championship, this weekend’s Rally Nelson.

Harcourts Vision are one of New Zealand’s best Real Estate companies with their philosophy which realises that real estate is just about as much about people as it is about property, something summed up by their statement “It’s all about you … getting what you want!”.

It has been a difficult season to date for the whole RDL Performance Rally Team. Although plenty of potential has been shown, a few technical issues has meant that the results the team are capable of achieving haven’t happened yet.

However with a two-month break since the last round of the national championship in the Wairarapa, the team have had a chance to further develop the car which should improve the pace and reliability of the car and hopefully put Marston into podium contention for the rookie and junior championships.

The 2009 Rally Nelson has been expanded to a two day format for the first time since 2006. Running on September 19-20, the event takes in some of the fastest forestry in the country and this year also includes some of Nelson’s best public road stages as well.

The event kicks off from Trafalgar street in Nelson at 10.15 am on Saturday morning before the crews tackle 135 competitive kilometres divided between six special stages. The following day, teams will cover a further 140 kilometres over six stages before returning to the World of Wearable arts centre and finish ramp.
