Will Orders and Lauren Grey won last weekend's Akademos Rally, driving Summit Rally Team's ageing Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5.
They led the rally from stage one and at the half way mark they held a commanding one minute 30 second lead from the nearest competitor.  Their final winning margin was just over 50 seconds as the Evo encountered a gearbox issues late in the event.  A happy team boss, Hilary Evans, commented: "Will is the fastest driver around and with impressive rally victories in the USA and now back home, he really deserves a better car to showcase one of Australia’s fastest drivers.  "We are currently trying to cement a deal that will show case Summit products and a new business venture through rally branding and Will's driving talent," Evans said.
