Chris Duplessis got a taste of what he is up against at the Susquehannock Trail Performance  Rally when Summit Rally Team’s lead driver, Will Orders, got the opportunity to take him for a ride in a DirtFish Rally School Subaru on Monday.

After winning the 2WD category at the Oregon Trail Rally, Orders was keen to give Duplessis a taste of the Australian driving style. Although Orders was not driving his distinctly recognised Nissan Silvia, he still put on an excellent show for Chris and the team at DirtFish Rally School, throwing the Subaru around in a controlled and flamboyant style.

Driving a four-wheel drive rally car is nothing new for the Summit Rally Team drivers, as they both drive and instruct in Subaru WRXs and Mitsubishi Evos at the Australian Rallyschool.com.au. Not to mention Orders’ experience in a Subaru after winning the RS Cup in 2005.

Orders wasn’t the only one to please the bystanders though, as Ross Allan also had a drive of the Subaru WRX. Using his experience of four-wheel drive, Allan manoeuvred the car quickly and smoothly along the gravel course.

“It was a great experience for the team and a great comparison to the Rallyschool back home. It was fantastic to meet Chris Duplessis and we look forward to battling with him at STPR," Orders said.
