After the first two rounds of the ECB ARC season the Hilary’s Hotel Rally Team is looking forward to the fast flowing roads that are the Scouts Rally South Australia.
Driver Will Orders is quietly confident heading into this round after a shaky start to the season. “We have had a fairly unlucky start to the year, with a few mechanical dilemmas which have yielded minimal points for the championship but that won’t stop us pushing for the win in SA.”
Since the electrical issues that occurred during the second round in Perth, the car has had a ground-up rebuild of the whole electrical system to ensure there will not be any issues in SA. The car has spent the majority of the time with the team at JJM Turboworld with the team at G & D Performance also lending a hand. It’s been an all-in effort to make sure the car will be at its best come this weekend.
Orders is a former State Championship winner in South Australia and believes this is the best chance the S13 Silvia has of winning this year.
“The Silvia is more suited on the open and fast flowing roads of SA, whereas we tend to struggle a little bit on the tight twisty roads so with this in mind we will drive as fast as we can. We know the car, and Toni, the crew and I, are capable of getting a result, but we can only wait and see come Sunday night!”
