Hayden Paddon is still planning on contesting a round of this year's Australian RallySport Championship, if a car can be found for the former WRC start to drive.
Paddon is contesting the New Zealand rounds of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, but has hinted that an Aussie rally is on the cards.
"It's a work in progress still, so (if there's) any Aussies who wanna give us a car, we'll come over and drive that," he told RallySport Magazine.
"We'll just change the badge on the front, and then we'll be fine!
"But we would really like to do one of the ARC rallies over there as part of the Pacific Cup, but we wouldn't take the AP4 car, so we'll try and look for ways on how we can make that work.
"We definitely want to branch a little bit outside of New Zealand this year," he added.
Australia's rounds of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship are June's Rally of Tasmania, and August's Eureka Rally in Ballarat.
