The SACHS Rally Team have sprayed and tasted some champagne with a solid third place in the fourth round of the BOSCH Australian Rally Championship, the Scouts Rally South Australia.
“That’s the toughest South Australian ARC event I have ever been in,” Shepheard said after the podium presentation. “SA is usually really fast, but normally not too hard on the cars, but this year’s was a really tough event, and after the frustrations we have had this year, to get a good solid result and spray some bubbly feels good.”
The SACHS Evo X finished all three heats of the event in third place, adding up to a third overall for the event, and including a bag of points for the BOSCH ARC pointscore. The team remain in fifth overall in the title chase as they head for the next round in Coffs Harbour from October 12-14.
