The ARC series has gained momentum throughout the year and Rally Victoria will see the final series podium positions decided in a mix of categories & classes. One of the biggest battles to be decided will be the 4wd National Rally Series that has been hotly contested all year and four crews are vying for outright in this category.
The "Classics" are set to appear again and leading off the field will be Neal Bates in the potent and beautiful Celica RA40, hoping to make amends for last year's disappointing DNF. The Toyota & Bates certainly won't have it all their way with a contingent of locals hoping to show them up on their home roads in Powelltown / Noojee forests.
Keeping the ARC competitors honest will be the Victorian Rally Championship teams, and will again see all the classes and grades on the line as they fight it out over the Saturday stages.
As an addition to the norm, the Side by Side Challenge will be running for the first time at Rally Victoria. Apart from contesting various forest stages they will have 2 unique special stages within Lardner Park to test the vehicles versatility on more rugged terrain.
The team behind Rally Victoria again seeks the involvement and much needed assistance from the army of volunteers who help make the event happen.
Anyone interested in assisting the event is advise to visit the online officials' registration page (http://officials.rallyvictoria.com.au/), which is ready and waiting for all new volunteer official roles.
All officials who are registered prior to the commencement of the event will go into the running to win a very special gift, which is guaranteed to be the envy of others!
Rally Victoria takes place on November 16-17 2013, and is the final round of the East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship, and the Victorian Rally Championship.
The event is proudly supported by; Tankformers, Fuji Xerox, Lardner Park, The Shire of Baw Baw, and the State Government of Victoria.
