Raymond returns, but in the co-driver’s seat

This weekend’s Rally Victoria will see the Raymond Partners Accountants Rally Team return to the Australian Rally Championship, however with a different combination than normal.

Stephen Raymond will drive his Toyota Corolla Group N (P) with brother, and last year’s winner, Glen, navigating. The Corolla is the same car that was driving successfully by Glen in the Australian Rally Championship in 2008 and 2009.
 
Held around their home town of Warragul, the team is excited about competing in their local environment.
 
“I am really looking forward to getting out and competing in the ARC,” said an excited Stephen. “I have been on the other side when I was servicing for Glen, so now I can get my own back by scaring him!”

Despite winning last year’s Rally Victoria, Glen will not be driving in this event.
 
“I would love to be driving, however without any sponsorship I can’t compete,” said Glen. “But with that said, I am still enjoying sitting in the silly seat. Steve hasn’t done much driving in the Corolla, so it is good to bounce ideas off each other about the car.”
