WRC Academy driver Brendan Reeves and co-driver Rhianon Smyth will have a full test in Finland ahead of next month's Neste Rally Finland, after a Facebook auction which raised over $7,000 for the Australian brother and sister duo.

Jari-Matti Latvala, Petter Solberg, Ken Block and Alister McRae were amongst those who donated items.

Funds also came from a Supporters Club gathering in Launceston,Tasmania, where Ken Rees (pictured) was a keynote speaker, and from the sale of bonnet signatures at $200 a time. The function was video streamed worldwide over the Internet.

The top auction bid was for Rhianon's helmet from 2010-11, which fetched $1,000 on Facebook.

Brendan and Rhianon plan to repeat the exercise to pay for a test ahead of Rally Deutschland.

The pair are currently third in the FIA WRC Academy with 35 points, behind Elfyn Evans on 38 and Alister Fisher on 46.
