Reeves ready for Fiesta International Shooutout

Brendan Reeves heads to the UK on Friday to compete in this year's Fiesta Sporting Trophy International Shooutout where he will be up against other top young drivers from around the world, all competing for a chance to win a 12 month contract with M-Sport.

Reeves was awarded a 'wild card' entry into the International Shootout after impressive performances in two events in New Zealand this year, for which he leased a Fiesta from Kayne Barrie Motorsport.

The young Victorian is looking forward to his trip which will also allow him to spectate at Wales Rally GB which falls immediately prior to the Shootout.

"It's an awesome opportunity to be given a 'wild card' entry into the Shootout," Reeves said.  "I can't wait to see how I go up against drivers from all around the world.  Many of them will be competing in Rally GB, but unfortunately, with the poor Aussie dollar exchange rate at the moment, leasing a car for the WRC event was out of our reach.  Still, I'll be able to watch the other Shootout drivers and see what I'll be up against!"

The Fiesta Sporting Trophy International Shootout takes place on December 9 and 10.
