Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Smyth will be back in the forests again on Saturday, May 3 when they contest the 2008 Rally of Lithgow in NSW.
Taking his Subaru Impreza RS for a run, Reeves is keen to get more pace note practice and is looking forward to the event.
“I’ll be doing an autocross this Sunday to sharpen the reflexes, so despite a month or so out of the car (since the Cerberus Stages Rally on March 1), I hope to be on the pace from the start. It will be great to compare my times with Alister McRae, who will also be competing in the rally.”
Smyth will be fresh from her role as co-driver to Rick Bates in this week's Targa Tasmania, so she should have no difficulty with calling the pace notes.
The pair are using the event as further practice, planning to get as much time in the car as possible and increase their experience with pace notes this year.
