This makes Scouts SA the longest serving naming rights sponsor in Rally SA’s 14 year history.
In 2014, Scouts Rally SA will be run on the roads around Gawler, the iconic Barossa Valley, Mt Barker and Mt Crawford from August 1-3.
The annual Scouts Rally SA sees Australia’s best rally drivers converge on South Australia, bringing a multi-million dollar impact on the South Australian economy and providing spectators with all the thrill and excitement of this incredibly spectacular and accessible form of motorsport.
“Scouts are excited to again be involved in what is becoming an iconic SA motorsport event” said Dan Ryan, CEO of Scouts SA.
“We are all about action, adventure, excitement and working in teams with our friends, whilst enjoying the outdoors. We value the personal attributes of resilience, persistence and being the best you can be. You can see there are plenty of similarities with rallying. We look forward to an exciting year again in 2014” confirmed Mr Ryan.
Scouts Rally SA Clerk of Course Ivar Stanelis said "It is very pleasing to have Scouts SA continue their naming rights sponsorship into 2014. This is great for the sport generally, and great for us locally. Scouts SA have become our partners in this event, and we all look forward to working with them once again in 2014.”
Director of the Australian Rally Championship, Scott Pedder, said “It’s great to hear that Scouts will once again be the naming rights sponsor for the SA round of the Australian Rally Championship. They are a welcome addition to the Championship and it is a testament to the efforts Ivar Stanelis and the organising committee put in each year that Scouts continue to show their support.”
