The red, white and black Datsun Stanza has been gaining a following during the year with its striking paintwork and impressive results getting plenty of attention.
It was built to replicate the paint scheme of the Datsun Stanza that Shehkar Mehta drove to 4 successive wins in the tough East African Safari in the period 1979-1982 (when it was a round of the World Rally Championship).
The distinctive Marlboro colours worn by Stanza are the same as Mehta’s 1982 winning car, also known as a Datsun Violet GT.
