The Trading Post Rally Team crew of Scott Pedder and Glen Weston have tested their brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX ahead of this weekend's Rally New Zealand, round 11 of the World Rally Championship.
Using the Maramarua test facility south of Auckland, the crew quickly came to grips with the new car built by Reece Jones Rallysport and are confident of a strong showing for the event.
"The car is very good and the guys from Reece Jones Rallysport have done a fantastic job in a very short time on the new car," said team driver Scott Pedder.
“Utilising some of the major components we have developed over the past few years with Team Mitsubishi Ralliart Australia meant we were able to feel comfortable with the new car almost instantly, and then set about analysing and developing the other areas of the car.
“ It was a very successful test session," Pedder said.
