18 year-old Swedish driver, Viktor Henriksson, was voted the top driver in the Fiesta Sporting Trophy International shoot-out held in the UK last week.
After tests which encompassed not only driving but physical, psychological and media-compatibility disciplines, Henriksson was declared the winner.
His reward is a year's employment with the M-Sport competition department, including test driving, weather-crew work on World Rally Championship events and accommodation at the M-Sport premises.
Among the 24 drivers he conquered in the two-day competition were FSTi champion Alex Bettega and Junior World Rally Championship Rookie title-winner Barry Clark.
New Zealand driver Emma Gilmour also contested the shoot-out and performed strongly.
Henriksson comes from an established rallying family heritage. His grandfather was Jan Henriksson, who finished fourth in the 1970 RAC Rally in a works Opel Kadett Rallye.
