Dani Sola and Xavi Pons are doing a great job working together, dominating the first two overall positions after the first three stages of the Rally of Nations. There is just a 3.5-second difference between the two Spanish drivers, whereas the Austrian Manfred Stohl follows closely behind the leader, Sola, just 18 seconds away.

The Finn Toni Gardemeister will have to compete on his own, as teammate Harri Rovanperä had to withdraw from the race after the steering arm failed just before starting off the first stage. Gardemeister is just 6 seconds behind Stohl, who is now the driver to beat.

Austrian driver Andreas Agnier closed the first five, while the best Mexican driver, Ricardo Triviño, is doing a great job in the sixth position, still in with a chance to move up the scoreboard after facing a few problems with his brakes, which were sorted out during service.

British driver Niall McShea, Frenchmen Didier Auriol and Brice Tirabassi, and Swede Patrik Sandell, complete the first ten places in this race.
