Two car team for Canberra locals
- 6th March 2009, 8:53am
Team Kent Motorsport has two Mitsubishi Lancer Evos entered for this weekend's Rally of Canberra.
The first is to be driven by Mark Kent, with Zoe Butler co-driving, and the second one by Mark's 17 year old son Tristan, co-driven by Ray Baker. Tristan will be driving in only his sixth rally and his second in the ex-Pedders Mitsubishi.
This will be Tristan's first time on pacenotes as a driver, having competed previously on pacenotes as a c-odriver at Rally of Canberra in the past.
The weekend should prove to be very dusty with the roads being dry due to the warm conditions recently. The ACT series part of the event is headed by current NSW State Champion Steve Forsberg and has 32 entries altogether.
Tristan's car has been prepared with a lot of help from Tim Batten and the guys at Autotech. Mark's car is supported by Capital Steering and Suspension in Fyshwick.
