Vatanen eyes FIA President’s job

Vatanen said he felt it was time for a change and says that he has the backing of a number of member clubs if he decides to stand for election.
Vatanen was quoted as saying, â€œAt the moment I am consulting the member clubs and am already seeing positive feedback. I am considering standing. I think the time has come for a change. I would go for it, even if not sure of winning.â€
Another likely candidate is the former Peugeot Sport boss, Frenchman Jean Todt. He is widely regarded as the natural successor to Max Mosley.
