The Focus on Furniture & Bedding Victorian Rally Championship is again set for a boost in 2015 with the return of the Bendigo Tyre Centre Victorian Noted Rally Series (NVRS) over the final 3 rounds.
The Bendigo Tyre Centre VNRS will be run in conjunction with the George Derrick Memorial Rally, Akademos, and Begonia Rally.
Total prizes of $5000 will be offered, split equally between first outright 2WD (including Excels) and first outright 4WD for the series.
2015 will see all VRC classes and categories eligible, as will other invited classes, including Club Cars, G2, Super 1600 and Super 2000.
The VNRS saw the inclusion of some exciting cars in 2014 which were normally ineligible for VRC points.
Scott Nicholls of Bendigo Tyre Centre is excited to continue their involvement after the huge success of the inaugural VNRS in 2014.
“It was great to see cars such as S2000 and club cars add to the excitement and spectacle of the normal VRC action in 2014. The sponsorship gave us some great exposure and we will continue to support those who support the VRC,” Nicholls said.
Bendigo Tyre Centre supplies all types of rally equipment including brands such as Pirelli, D-Mack, Monit, AlpineStars and Sparco just to name a few. Visit their website at www.bendigotyres.com.au or give the team a call on (03) 5444 1545 for any of your rally needs.
Entry into the series is free on entering a round of the VRC and only requires a tick of the VNRS box on the standard entry form. To be eligible for the series at least two of the three events must be contested.
