As we prepare for the first round of the Bosch Australian Rally Championship this weekend, it's timely to look back at the ARC's most successful driver, New Zealander Possum Bourne.
Tragically, Bourne and his co-driver, Rodger Freeth, were killed in (separate) accidents at events; Freeth at Rally Australia, and Bourne during pre-event preparations for the Race To The Sky hillclimb in New Zealand.
Years on, this video is a fantastic reminder of the legendary Possum Bourne - a man still missed by everyone who came in contact with him.
